Candy Land
Typically, during Halloween and after, I lay down the law on candy consumption. They can have so many pieces Halloween eve and then I dole the rest of it out, one by one, until around Easter.
This year we had a free for all. Friday through Sunday they got to eat candy whenever and how much they wanted. No questions asked.
What was funny to me was that they actually only ate what they could and then put it aside. There were no maddening questions posed every two minutes about when the next time would be that they could possibly get their chocolate smudged fists on some more candy, they just took it.
And today, it’s gone. It was shipped off to PJ’s school for their Fall Festival.
No questions asked, they know it is gone but ohhhhhh what a sweet few days it was.
