Yeah…pot lids. I know, I know, don’t I have anything better to talk about than pot lids? But let me tell you, for the past 3 years, since we moved into our house, I have cursed at the pot and pan situation. We have two stacks of pots and pans and then the lids are leaning up, stacked on or just plain falling off the shelf every time I open the damn door.

I have often thought of purchasing a pan lid holder, but for some reason have never gotten around to it. Why it is these simple little things are always put off? Usually in our case, until we decide to sell the house and move on. Why?

Well, I decided to bite the bullet, go out and buy a $6 pot lid holder. I placed each pan lid in its individual holder, stepped back to get a good look at it and decide there and then that I have just given myself the best birthday present in the world.

Yes, if you don’t know or have forgotten tomorrow is Flag Day!
