Martha, Martha, Martha

Martha Stewart may be the only person in the world that could leave prison in a better position then when she went in. It seems crazy to me that she would be allowed to teach yoga classes and help inmates prepare fabulous meals for their visiting families. But now, she returns home to her palatial estate in Bedford New York, looking better and thinner than ever and reportedly ½ billion dollars richer since leaving the clink. This woman knows how to work it people.

I use to adore Martha, back in the day when a friend and I owned and operated our own catering company. She has great ideas and some great recipes, although she ruined several a Thanksgiving dinner at my home, which I have NOT forgiven her for. The candied cumquats sucked and the apple pie, well, it looked perfect from the outside when the inside was completely raw. These were large scale production meals that fell flat on their derriere. And by no means, was I to fault!

Anyway, even though I don’t hold her up to the Grand Goddess status that I use to, I am looking forward to seeing what she will do next and I am already completely amazed by the phoenix like resurrection that has already taken place in less than 24 hours.
